Easley High School Class of '89

Several people have emailed to find out if they can still send checks in for the reunion. The answer, YES; however, PLEASE PUT THEM IN THE MAIL NOW!!!!  Please, send an email to us, let us know you are coming, and put the check in the mailbox.

We will have a photographer at the reunion. She will have cards with her website listed on it. She will post the photos for sale on her site. She will be arriving around 6:30 and will be available for a few hours. We would like to do a group photo at 7:15ish. (http://valoriewhite.com)

The EHS tour begins at 10:30 am on Saturday OCT 10th. Joe's Ice Cream Parlor will follow.

The cash bar is a cash bar. They won't take credit cards. Please bring cash.

Speaking of cash, unless you are amazingly lucky and can find a spot to park on the street, you will need cash for the garage.

Hope that covers everything!

Okay, procrastinators! It's time to write those checks and get them in the mail. We've heard verbally from a few people that they plan to attend, but we haven't yet received payment. In case you've forgotten, it's not too late! We've extended our payment deadline until Saturday. Get those checks in right away so we can see

Whatcha Wearing? 08/25/2009

We've gotten a few emails asking about appropriate dress for the reunion.  We think most people will be in business casual or cocktail attire.  But y'all, we don't really care what you wear, as long as you show up!

Please join us for our 20 year high school reunion at the Westin Poinsett Hotel on Saturday October 10th starting at 6:30 pm. Dinner and appetizers are included, and a cash bar is provided for your convenience. Your favorite 80's music will be on rotation with our DJ

We also hope you will join us for a tour of our dear Easley High School on Saturday morning at 10:30. The campus has changed a lot over the years, and we'll also see the plans for the new campus that will be built. Children are welcome to attend the tour.  We're likely to follow up with an early lunch at Joe's Ice Cream Parlor (mmmm peanut butter milkshakes!).

The cost per person for our reunion is $54.00.

Checks payable to "Easley High School Class of '89 Reunion" should be mailed to:

Elizabeth McDaniel
139 Highland View Drive
Pickens, SC 29671

Easley, For Thee 01/28/2009

Welcome, Green Waves! Can you believe it's been 20 years since we graduated? The time has flown by for me, and probably for you too. Our classmates have been married, and divorced, and married again. We've had children and even grandchildren! We've attained advanced degrees, published books, owned companies, and traveled the world. We've stayed home, left home, and returned home.  But always, we've been connected through our mutual history.

I hope you have many fond memories of your time at EHS. And I hope you're ready to make some new ones! Reunion time is approaching quickly, and we want to reconnect with as many Class of '89 alums as possible.
